Ninja Foodi Brussel Sprouts and Bacon

This recipe uses such little oil as opposed to oven-roasted brussels sprouts. They cook so much faster than when cooked in your conventional oven.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Insert the Crisper Basket and close the hood. Select AIR CRISP, set the temperature to 390°F, and set the time to 12 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.
  • Meanwhile, toss the Brussels sprouts in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and bacon.
  • Add the Brussels sprouts to the basket when the unit beeps to signify it has preheated. Close the hood and cook for 10 minutes.
  • After 6 minutes, shake the basket of Brussels sprouts. Place the basket back in the unit and close the hood to resume cooking.
  • After 6 minutes, check for desired crispness. Continue cooking for up to 2 more minutes, if necessary.

u003cliu003eAn easy tip to bypass using dishes altogether in this recipe. In step 2, put the ingredients in a zip-lock bag rather than a bowl. Shake to coat, then pour them right into the Crisper Basket.u003c/liu003e
