Is The Ninja Foodi A Crock-Pot? (What’s the Difference)

These days, set it and forget it. Slow cooking appliances are more popular than ever before; it’s safe to say nearly everybody has either a Crockpot or a slow cooker. But while the terms “slow cooker” and “crockpot” are sometimes used interchangeably, is the Ninja Foodi a crockpot?

The Ninja Foodi is not a Crockpot; it is a pressure cooker, air fryer, steamer, dehydrator, roaster, and slow cooker. The term “crockpot” is a trademark owned by Sunbeam.

The first basic crockpot to hit the market only had two settings: low and high, but newer models have hit the market that has improved over time with new digital timers and smart Crockpots that can be controlled from your phone. Other slow cookers, like the Ninja Foodi, have advanced technology with a 4-in-1 Cooking System that sears, sautés, steams, and slow-cooks.

Adjust the temperature setting between (High – 4 hours to 6 hours) and (Low – 8 hours to 12 hours). Press Start/Stop to start the slow cooking process.
